New comers can come and see whether they like the training session before they sign on!

 

This Year for 2009 Feltham Falcons are happy to announce that they have partnered with other local junior league team, the West London Sharks.  Between the two clubs we cater for children of 8-16 years old.  We have six teams at Under 9's (Year 3 and 4), Under 11's (year 5 and 6), Under 12's (Year 7) and Under 13's (Year 8), Under 14's (Year 9) and Under 16's (Year 10 and 11).  Last year was the Feltham Falcons first attempt at the London Junior League at U12's and we took the league by storm only losing one league game at the end of the season. 

This Year the U12's move up to U13's and our Yr 6 U11's get a chance to fight it out in the U12's league.  Exciting times are upon us as we can now cater for all primary and secondary school children and look forward to having a new influx of U9's and U11's off the back of the hard work delivered by our Harlequins RL coaches and local teachers.

Next year we will look to have an U7's team that will compete in Tag Rugby on a match day.  If you know of any children this young that would be interested in taking part in this next year then please get in contact and we may be able to find them a fixture at the back of this season.

We are affiliated with Harlequins Rugby League and playing in our team could lead to player pathways such as a position in the north v south london origin team or could even lead to a position on the Harlequins RL scholarship. Last season, four players from our U12's junior league were selected to take part in the Harlequins Scholarship out of a possible 12 selections throughout the whole of London and South England.


So get ready to start playing some rugby league because it's nearly time! Depending on the light, each session may require different footwear so please bring boots and trainers in case we need to train on astroturf, grass or tarmac.

matches will be played on a Saturday or Sunday, depending mainly on when Harlequins RL first team play their matches.

To COMPLETELY REGISTER, you need to bring two passport size photographs, proof of age (preferably a photocopy of your birth certificate or passport), a cheque or cash for £40.  Both child and parent need to be present at the sign on process due to a required signature from both people.  If all these things are covered then it makes life very easy for you and us as we will not be passing forms backwards and forwards.
